The work I do incorporates the figure as a representation of the spiritual aspects of our being. I am interested in the body/soul's journey through this life and what I imagine may exists after death.

In my works I seek to illustrate my belief that there is a spiritual world, and a spiritual dimension to all aspects of the material world - and that there is a continuing interaction between these two worlds.

With our finite minds, it is a challenge to portray the infinite so I set a scene consisting of symbols such as astronomy - the Cosmos, Galaxy, Universe, Planets (and land, where we fit in).

Using the spere/circle as a symbol of expression and incorporating the figure, I express The Being, and the interaction of beings, for my intention is to express a spiritual reality.
